Today also marks what would have been my stepfather's 70th birthday. He was so young when he died, it's so strange to think that almost 8 years have passed since he died...

Today is the only day where my age and the spot on the countdown are the same. It's strange to consider that, as the numbers in the countdown decrease, my age increases. Also, from the office of Random and Trivial Facts/Coincidences...39 is the number of cities and towns in Rhode Island.

Backwards from 40
Well, the day after my brother turns 27 marks the beginning of my countdown to my 40th birthday. And how do I celebrate this auspicious occasion? With a snowday! Nice to have a day to sleep in, spend extra time in pajamas, and bake with the kids. Shoveling...a necessary evil.
Starting to think about what I want to do for my birthday...happy to take suggestions! :)
